Brooks, Professor of Educational Leadership and Head of School of the Curtin University School of Education in Perth, Australia. I conduct research using a variety of interdisciplinary theoretical frameworks and primarily employ qualitative and mixed-method ethnographic methods to study education in domestic and international contexts. My recent publications, grants, presentations and workshops have focused on equity, activism, racism, culture, school leadership and social justice in K-12 practice and in administrator preparation programs.
